Merubah Tampilan Windows XP Menjadi MacOS X Leopard

Di awal maret ini, saya akan memberikan sebuah tool yang saat ini lagi sangat saya sukai. Kenapa saya sangat suka?? karena dengan tool ini Windows XP kita bisa berubah seperti MacOs X Leopard. Benar-benar serasa kita menggunakan MacOs X Leopard. Saya jamin keren banget deh sob. Penasaran kan?? Cekidot,,

Sebenarnya alasan saya menggunakan tool ini ialah, laptop saya abis di instal ulang dan semua tampilan desktop yang sudah saya modif menggunakan Window Blinds hilang semua (back to windows xp default). Sempat mau instal windows blinds lagi, tapi pas saya pikir-pikir lagi kayanya kurang seru kalau nggak mencoba sesuatu yang baru, benar nggak sob??? Hehehe.

Setelah berfikir, (sekitar semenit lamanya,, hehe) akhirnya saya memmutuskan untuk mengubah tampilan Windows xp saya menjadi seperti MacOS X Leopard. Kebetulan tuh software dah lama banget saya download, tapi berhubung waktu itu saya menggunakan window Blind, mau nggak mau saya pending dahulu untuk menginstalnya.

Penasaran dengan tampilan nya??? Coba liat ini sob.

Kalau pendapat saya pribadi sih, software ini emang keren banget sob, efek visualisasi dan transparant nya oke banget pokoknya, hampir sama kaya windows 7. Malah bisa di bilang bagusan ini untuk efek-efek seperti itu. Pantesan aja, banyak sekali yang ingin menggunakan MacOS yah, ternyata emang keren banget. Saya aja baru menggunakan tool penirunya, apalagi menggunakan MacOS X Leopard yang asli??

Selain kelebihan, tentu ada kekurangan sob. Kekurangannya sebenarnya nggak banyak, dan mungkin relatif bagi sobat blogger semua. Apakah itu?? Yaitu, masalah performance. Soalnya terasa berat sekali ketika di jalankan, apalagi pas baru mulai masuk windows (startup), berasa banget. (loading nya lama,, huhuh)
Biar nggak penasaran, saya menggunakn spesifikasi sebagai berikut :

• Windows XP SP 3
• Core2Duo
• DDR2 3 GB (2.7 GB)
• VGA Onboard 256 Mb

NB : Ketika di akhir step penginstalan, anda akan menemukan sebuah peringantan "Dont touch your mouse,,bla,,bla" yang kalau di artikan "jangan sentuh mouse kamu, hingga proses ini berakhir". Kalau muncul seperti itu, Klik Ok. lalu diamkan untuk beberapa saat hingga menu start windows berubah posisi menjadi diatas (beserta taskbar tentunya,, heheh).

UPDATE : Barusan saya coba uninstall MacOs X, proses uninstall berjalan dengan normal dan komputer pun kembali seperti semula. Cuma letak startmenu nya aja yang masih di atas. Heheh

XPScene : Nikmati fitur DreamScene di Windows XP

Banyak yang me-request DreamScene buat Windows XP jadi artikel kali ini membahas cara menjadikan Video sebagai wallpaper pada windows Xp dengan Software XPScene, yang sekarang sudah mencapai versi 1.2.8.317. XPScene dikembangkan oleh dreamscene.org. Yuk kita langsung cek saja.

Spesifikasi yang perlu dipenuhi :

• Memerlukan .NET Framework 2.0 (digunakan saat membuat DreamScenenya,, bukan saat menjalankan videonya)
• Agar DreamScene berjalan lancar (tidak kena macet^) diperlukan 3.0 GHz single core CPU (or better) dan 1024 MB Ram (or more)
• Tentunya VGA yang mendukung DirectX (Saya tes di 128MB Lancar)

Tutorial :

1. Download Program XPScene
2. Extract program (program bersifat portable alias tanapa install), lalu buka XPScene.exe
3. Tekan tombol bulat bericon video lalu cari file video (wmv/mpeg/avi)
4. Tekan tombol bulat berikon folder lalu cari folder dimana tempat menyimpan file hasil.
5. Tekan tombol bulat bericon hijau (Tunggu hingga selesai)
6. Sekarang set sebagaibackground. Klik kanan pada desktop pilih properties lalu Display Properties > Desktop > Background > Browse (cari folder dimana tempat menyimpan hasil tadi lalu klik NamaDreamScene.html) dan Gunakan mode Stretch dan apply.

Di Website dreamscene.org anda akan banyak menemukan software-software desktop diantaranya

• XPScene : Software yang berfungsi menjadikan video sebagai wallpaper (DreamScene ala XP)
• Screen2Dream : Menjadikan ScreenServer sebagai wallpaper pada desktop
• WPTimer : Mengganti gambar sesuai waktu yang anda tentukan (Slideshow Gan Seperti pada windows 7)

Download Windows 7 Dream Scene Activator

Apakah sobat pernah dengar dream scene?? Dream Scene adalah sebuah fitur menjadikan video sebagai wallpaper. Pertama diperkenalkan pada Windows Vista Ultimate dan Sekarang pada Windows 7 bernama Windows Slideshow (tetapi tidak mendukung video). Fitur dari Windows Vista tersebut juga dapat kita gunakan pada windows 7 dengan menggunakan Dream Secene Activator ini.

Cara menggunakan :

1. Download filenya, buka program Windows 7 Dream Scene Activator.
2. Pilih Enable DreamScene. (Sobat juga bisa mendisablenya)
3. Terus cari file video (yang saya gunakan berformat .wmv atau download kumpulan DreamScene disini bisa juga tanya mbah google).
4. klik kanan videonya lalu pilih "Set As Desktop Background".
5. Jika mengklik kanan pada dektop akan ada "Pause Dream Scene" yang gunanya untuk mempause video/DreamScene yang sedang berjalan.

Pada gambar diatas terlihat tulisan pada dektop menjadi tidak kelihatan, dan nomer 2 kelihatan.

Cari menanggulanginya :

1. Cari gambar apa saja (lewat windows explorer) lalu klik kanan pilih "Set As Desktop Background"
2. Lalu Ulangi "Set As Desktop Background" pada Video DreamScene yang ingin anda gunakan, maka tulisan akan kembali terlihat.

Tips Membuat Hotspot Menggunakan Laptop Di Windows 7

Zaman sekarang hotspot bukanlah sesuatu yang mewah lagi, siapa saja sudah bisa membuat hotspot. Pada kesempatan kali ini saya akan mencoba share tips membuat hotspot hanya dengan menggunakan sebuah laptop/notebook. Penasarankan bagaimana caranya??? Cekidot,,

Untuk membuat hotspot dengan memanfaatkan wifi di laptop/notebook sebenarnya ada banyak cara. Disini saya akan share cara yang menurut saya yang paling mudah dan simple, yakni menggunakan tool yang benama Connectify. Connectify hanya berjalan di Windows 7, jadi selain itu mohon maaf yah. Hehehe

Bahan-bahan yang di butuhkan :

• Jaringan Internet (tested on speedy, fastnet dan Modem HP SMART)
• Notebook/Laptop yang sudah ada wifi nya.
• Windows 7
• Software Connectify

Oke, langsung aja kita ke tahap-tahap yang sudah di tunggu-tunggu.

Cara setting (perhatikan gambar di atas) :

1. Wifi-Nama : Isi nama jaringan wifi anda anda kehendaki. (misal : remoxpArea)
2. Password : masukan password sesuai keinginan anda. Berfungsi untuk mengamankan jaringan internet anda, dari orang-orang yang tidak berkepentingan.
3. Internet : Pilih sumber koneksi internet anda yang akan anda share.
4. Wifi : Pilih "wireless network connection"
5. Mode : Biasanya di sesuaikan dengan jenis kartu wifi anda, tergantung kartu wifi anda, sudah support yang mana.
6. Klik aplly settings
7. Lalu start hotspot
8. Selesai
